SMS & MMS Communications with Droppers

This Messaging Privacy Policy explains how iDrop (“iDrop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when communicating via SMS and MMS messaging with independent delivery partners (“Droppers”) who deliver on behalf of iDrop Materials.
This policy applies only to text and multimedia messaging communications and is supplemental to iDrop Materials general Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect Through Messaging

 

When you communicate with iDrop Materials Support via SMS/MMS, we may collect:
•    Mobile phone number
•    Message content (including text, images, or other media)
•    Date, time, and delivery status of messages
•    Operational or delivery-related information you voluntarily provide
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or banking credentials) via SMS/MMS.

 

3. How We Use Messaging Information

Messaging data is used solely for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:
•    Delivery coordination and status updates
•    Account support and troubleshooting
•    Schedule changes or service alerts
•    Safety or compliance notifications
•    Responding to Dropper-initiated inquiries
Messages are not used for consumer marketing or promotional advertising.

We do not sell or rent SMS/MMS data. Messaging information may be shared only:
•    With trusted service providers that support messaging infrastructure
•    When required by law, regulation, or legal process
•    To protect the safety, rights, or property of iDrop Materials, Droppers, or the public
All vendors are contractually required to protect data confidentiality.

 

5. Data Retention

 

SMS/MMS communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operational, legal, or compliance purposes, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

6. Data Security

 

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect messaging data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

 

7. Your Choices

 

Droppers may opt out of SMS/MMS communications at any time by replying STOP.
After opting out, you may still receive essential non-message communications through alternative channels, where required for active deliveries.
